These premium lessons give families the convenience of lessons without the inconvenience of leaving their home for one more thing. Families are able to continue with their regular home activities while siblings take lessons. We are one of the only music schools in Wichita that offers recitals in beautiful facilities.
Every parent wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand that their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in recitals and activities throughout the year. In August of every year, we hold our annual All Studio Recitals. These are held in beautiful facilities with quality pianos. Students dress up for the occasion and we have professional printed programs. These are very special experiences, and something every students, families, and teachers look forward to every year. In addition to the annual recital, we also hold a Christmas Kickoff Celebration and two very special Spotlight Concerts that are by-audition-only and limited to only six students in each. |

We give our students the opportunity to earn trophies, medals, and certificates for passing specific musical milestones. Do other schools offer trophies, medals, and certificates? A few. But our school honors them all at our yearly All Studio Recitals with a special ceremony.

10. Student Spotlight Concerts.

We are the only music school in Wichita that offers special by-audition-only Spotlight Concerts.
Twice a year, Accent Music Academy of Wichita offers students the opportunity to audition for a very special concert. This concert features only six students who are selected from their audition recordings to perform. Only six students are selected for each concert, and each one is made to feel like a star – performing three pieces each. This is a very special event every time and something families, students, teachers, and the community really look forward to. |

11. Early morning, lunch time, and late evening lessons for home schoolers, retirees, college students and working professionals.

Here in Wichita, we are able to be a 'full service' music school. This means we offer lessons as early as 8:00 AM most days, and we see many students between the hours of 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. If you are a home school parent, retiree, college student or working professional who has a flexible schedule, take advantage of our early morning and lunch time lesson spots. If you want lessons, but do not have early morning or lunchtime flexibility, we also offer lessons as late as 9:00 PM weekday evenings, and we have lots of Saturday and Sunday options for those who prefer a weekend time. |

13. A Christmas Celebration that helps bring in the season.

We are the only music school in Wichita that offers a low-key Christmas Celebration like ours. Every year we offer a relaxed Christmas Party where students are encouraged, but not required to perform. The main focus of the Christmas Celebration is simply a time to get excited about the up-coming season, have some fun, and enjoy time with others. We enjoy crafts, treats, pictures with Santa, and great music! Students are encouraged to wear festive and fun outfits.

14. Month to Month lessons for your convenience.
|
Accent Music Academy does not require semester minimums for lessons. Every student here is on a month-to-month basis. While we do ask that you give us 30-day notice of leaving, you are not held into a long-term contract. We want you and your child to be happy with your music lessons, not dreading them.

While other music schools don’t teach over the summer months, Accent Music Academy of Wichita continues to teach. So much education and advancement is lost over the summer months with other music schools, but not here. Students continue to learn and progress over the summer months. The studio will be closed for all lessons including studio, in-home, and online. We do realize that for some families this is not actually your Spring Break and we apologize if it is not. Wichita School District decided to have a different Spring Break this year than the private and Catholic schools. We looked at the majority of the families and more were out on this week, so we decided to take off this week.
